I just want to say a huge thank you to all the current registrants, former
registrants, and their families who have been incredibly generous
with their donations. Your generosity keeps the registry open ...
now for over thirty years ... and allows us to continue to keep
registration free. It really matters. It affects someone, somewhere,
not just you. Reunions continue to
happen because of each and every one of you. So, thank you!
In addition, some of you have created situations with your employers,
and various foundations where we have received matching funds. This
in essence doubles your donation. What an incredible gift. So,
thanks for that as well.

On average ISRR receives somewhere between 100 and 300 new
registrations each week. Processed in March 2008 are:

Missing Registrants
Since Spring of 2007 we revisited 54 older and unresolved matches, where one or more
of the registrants did not keep their contact information current
with ISRR. Most of those have been concluded. However, the following
need more information from one or both of the registrants - to
determine if it is indeed a match. Often only a current address or
phone number is required to put the parties together.

or phone number may be out-of-date with ISRR, please click on

it out, sign it and mail to ISRR. Until the Imaging Project is
finished, our staff will not be able to take updates or changes over
the phone, by fax or email. We are sorry for this inconvenience, however,
ask you to understand that we are working just as fast and hard as
possible ... there is only so much of us to go around!
Hope ~
Towards the end of 2007 we received a registration from an adoptee born
in 1928. Her birthmother had registered with us in 1986. There is always hope and
usually ways to acquire more data on your family. We want to
encourage you to click on "Get
More Info" for guidelines to assist you in acquiring additional
information. So often, one more piece can complete the puzzle or
help us determine relationship. Gather as much information as you
can and please remember to send us updates.
Imaging Project. This project continues. California was
completed near the end of 2007. There is now only one state left to prep, scan
and index. We left New York until last because there were going to
be differences in the preparation process and some programming
changes were needed to allow for the boroughs. It won't be long
before the entire Registry will be in the new digitized system. For more

Imaging
Please always remember that you are not alone. We receive
many thousands of new registrations each year and do matches nearly
every single day. There are search and support resources all over
the world, and hundreds of thousands who have gone before you in a
quest for family.
We work hard to keep this
registry free to registrants and are grateful for your generous
contributions which allows this service to continue uninterrupted since
1975.
